Lots of potatoes!

Posted 7/30/2018 8:59pm by Sally Voris .

 Hi friends!

We have more than enough potatoes in the garden. What with the ten more days of thunderstorms that has been predicted, they may well rot in the field. So if you or someone you know wants to come dig, please do. I am here most mornings except Wednesdays and Sundays, and Tuesday, Thursday and sunday evenings. Please call ahead: 410-756-9303.

We have a very reasonable 30-day trial membership in our non-profit, White Rose Farm Circle--$5 for an adult; $7.50 for a family. I ask that those who come join as members, if they have not already. The farm would be glad for a donation to support the garden as well, but as a farmer/gardener, I want to share food with others.

The farm is becoming a place to be in touch with nature in a very literal way. Volunteers have found working in the garden with others grounding in an increasingly chaotic world. We are creating beauty, bounty and balance in ourselves and in this small patch of ground.

Season's best,

P.S. Hope you will come to a Taste of Salsa this Saturday night, August 4 from 6 to 9 p.m. FILE: (Taste_of_Salsa_2018_final_edit_2.pdf)

Quiet time is starting....

Hazel is back! She is pregnant and due midwinter. Our thanks to Leah Mack, at whose farm Hazel and Daisy spent the summer with a virile bull.  Now we want to find Daisy, a pure-bred Jersey, a new home. She is pregnant and due mid-spring. Interested? Please contact me. Thanks. Sally
