CSA Subscription, 2010 Season
The farm will offer a traditional Community-Supported Agriculture (CSA) subscription this year. For our 2010 season, we are offering 20 weeks of nutritious and delicious food. The produce will vary with the season and the weather.
We use biodynamic practices to grow tasty and nutritious vegetables without using chemicals, pesticides or insecticides. We have a strong commitment to providing plenty of “nutrient-dense” produce popping with flavor throughout the CSA season. We plan to provide cooking greens, salad greens, starches (squash, potatoes, sweet potatoes or beets), seasonal favorites (tomatoes, peppers, broccoli, beans or cabbage), herbs, and onions or garlic. Fruit is occasionally offered as available. Substitutions will not be made lightly.
This season we’re offering the 20-week subscription for $500.00 --approximately $25 worth of vegetables, herbs and fruit per week. Our weekly shares typically include 8 to 10 items and it will provide a weeks' workth of vegetables, fruits and herbs to feed a small family.
The season runs from June 5 through October 30, 2010 (excluding the weeks of August 21 and 28).If you need to miss any week, please make arrangements for a friend to pick up your bag or we will donate it to a needy family.
Several payment options are specified on the commitment form. We accept payment by cash or check.
Contact us if your group of at least 10 CSA shares is interested in special delivery arrangements.
