White Rose Farm is a 132-acre farm in the heart of gently rolling farm country, about five miles northeast of Taneytown. It includes an old farmhouse, a rancher, a barn, a dairy, vegetables and flower gardens, picnic areas, a pond, a stream, woods, wetlands, hedgerows, a hammock strung between two apple trees, comfortable chairs and a view of the sunsets over the Catoctin Mountains.

Directions:

FROM TANEYTOWN: At the light at 140 and 194, go 3 miles north on 194. Turn left onto Teeter Road. For the farmhouse, go 1.4 miles, through the first intersection at Ruggles Road. Turn into the next farm lane on the right, 5009 Teeter Road. (For 4234 Ruggles Road, turn right onto Ruggles Road, go less than a mile and turn into the first lane on the left.)

FROM WASHINGTON DC: Take 270 North from the Washington Beltway to US 15 to 194 North. Go approximately 20 miles, to the light at the center of Taneytown. Then follow the above directions.

FROM BALTIMORE: Take 795 from the Baltimore Beltway (695) and follow the signs to 140 Westminster. Stay on 140 to Taneytown. As you come into town, you will go through 2 stoplights. At the third light, turn right and follow the directions from Taneytown.

FROM GETTYSBURG: Take US 15 south to Route 97. Turn left and go 2.5 miles to Hoffman Home Road. Turn right, g0 3.7 miles to Harney Road, turn left. Go 2 miles and turn right onto Teeter Road. As you come out of the woods, you will see Frock road on the right. Turn left shortly into the first farm lane on your left.
 

FROM HANOVER: Take 194 South through Littlestown. Turn right onto Harney Road. Go two miles; turn left onto Teeter Road. Go 1.5 miles, past Frock Road and turn left into the next farm lane.
