Activities on the Farm

Upcoming Events:

FULL MOON CELEBRATION, Sunday, September 14; 5-7:00 p.m:

Peggy Adams will lead dances of universal peace. The dances are easy, engaging circle dances that express the unity and diversity of many spiritual traditions through movements, songs and chants. At 4:00 p.m. farm owner Sally Voris will lead a tour of the farm featuring her biodynamic practices. Bring a picnic and enjoy it at the farm. Produce, drinks and snacks will be for sale. After the dancing, we will have a bonfire, weather permitting. 

BARN DANCE:

The farm will host a barn dance on Saturday, September 20 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Barb Schmid and Todd will play country music as caller Karl Senseman calls simple country dances. $10/adult; $18/couple; $25/family. Bring a picnic dinner and enjoy an evening of country living! We will have drinks, snacks and produce for sale.    

FULL MOON CELEBRATION; Sunday, October 12 at 7:00 p.m.:
Jim Thomas and his friends will lead a drum circle around the bonfire, weather permitting.

Ongoing Events:

Open Houses: The farm hosts an Open House on the first Saturday of the month from 8:00 to 11:30 a.m. and on the first Sunday from 4:00 to 7:30 p.m. Sally Voris, the garden’s owner and manager, will give free tours of the farm and answer questions about its operation.

Picking Hours: The garden is open Tuesday and Saturday mornings from 8:00 to 11:30 a.m. and on Friday evenings from 4:00 to 7:30 p.m.  for those who want to pick their own food. Staff will be working in the garden and will be available to identify what is ripe and how to pick it.

Member Hours: People may choose to join the farm as members of our farm club. The farm is open to members, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. six days a week, and on Sunday after 2:00 p.m. As a farm member, individuals or families can enjoy being a part of  our extended farm family.

Full Moon Celebrations: The farm hosts a monthly event to honor the Earth.

Seasonal Events: The farm hosts seasonal events to celebrate the changes of the seasons.
