Seasonal Events

In 2018, White Rose Farm Circle, Inc. is sponsoring five events to honor the seasons at White Rose Farm.

Celebrate May Day!

Sunday, May 6, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Celebrate May Day and the arrival of spring! Pick herbs and fresh flowers, make flower garlands, crowns and staffs and help us set up the May pole. Then join us as we weave satin ribbons around the May pole in the traditional dance accompanied by the live music of Artie and the Vipers. Enjoy the story, "Butterfly Wonder," a lap puppet show delightfully told by Beech Tree Puppets. The May Day festivities are open to the public with the price of admission. A potluck meal follows the festivities for circle members. Bring your family and friends.

Event Admission: Adult/$10; Child/$5; Family/$25 Register here.

Dance at Summer Solstice

Saturday, June 16, 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Pam Kraemer will lead circle dances for the whole family for our event to honor summer solstice. Pan and her family live in Westminster. She is captivated by movement, and its concrete and symbolic impact on our lives.

A Taste of Salsa!

Saturday, August 4, 2018, 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Come join us for a Taste of Salsa. Dance instructor Michael Campbell will entice both beginning and experienced dancers to learn and dance to salsa music! Salsa made fresh from the farm will also be featured in the potluck for members.

  Celebrate the Fall Equinox

Saturday, September 22, 5:00 p.m.

This year, Beechtree Puppets will present The Crystal Ball in the barn at the farm. Then we will enjoy the magic of this evening--the weaving of a performance in the barn, the gardens in fall, a fire circle and a pot-luck meal for farm circle members. The evening ends with people gathering around the fire singing and telling stories.

Cost: $10/adult, $7/child, $30/family. Register here.

Saturday, November 3, 2018, 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

From 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., we invite you to join Farm Circle members in decorating the temporary community altar in the barn. Please feel free to bring items (i.e. photos, flowers, or food) to honor a loved one. We will host a pot-luck meal for farm circle members (it is easy to join!).

At 7:30 pm, Jaqui MacMillan, of Drum for Joy,  will again lead a drum circle to honor the ancestors. Jaqui discovered her passion for drumming in the early 1980's and have been teaching private lessons, leading workshops and drum circles throughout the U.S. for over 20 years. Bring a drum if you have one. We will have extra instruments.

Please note: Children 12 and over are welcome.

Our Season Opens....
