How to Make Salsa

Back to Educational Programs How to Make Salsa

On Saturday, July 29th 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. we will focus on how to make salsa. We will start with a garden walk. Participants will pick and taste various kinds of tomatoes, tomatillos, peppers, onions and herbs. Then Kasey Johnson, an avid fermenter, will demonstrate how to make several different kinds of salsa. Last year, she shared her own fermented salsa: it was the best I have ever tasted! The farm will then host a potluck and fire circle for farm circle members after the program. The event is free to farm circle members and $20 for non-members. Register here.
