What is Happening on the Farm?

Garden Gambit

This week, we invite you to join our bi-weekly garden get-together on Wednesday evenings starting at 7:00 p.m. The event is free to members; $5.00 for adults: $ 7.50 for families (or enjoy our 30-day trial membership for the same price.)

 

This week:

We may harvest the last of the peas, plant pumpkins, and demonstrate how to make elderflower champagne, a farm specialty. Please RSVP and purchase a ticket below as space is limited due to COVID restrictions.

 

Drum for Peace

This Sunday, July 5 from 7:30 to 9:00 pm., we will hold our first Drum Circle at the full moon around our fire circle. It can accommodate 10 people with appropriate social distancing. As we celebrate Independence Day, we can drum for the freedom to create new structures that serve our community. Bring your own drum, if you have one. We will have extra.

RSVP and purchase a ticket below. For those with a membership the price per person is $10, for non-members the price is $15. (Members enter coupon code at time of purchase) 

 

Taste & Touch Tour

Participate in a “touch and taste” tour of the garden on Saturday morning, from 10:00 to noon. Once a month, owner Sally Voris lead a tour of the garden, explaining biodynamic principles and techniques. Taste vegetables in season; touch satiny soil and pick a tub of produce to take home at half price.

We Are Creating New Spaces!

Our Family Play Space,a whimsical outdoor setting with picnic tables and a woodland setting, opens officially on July 10. Designed for families to explore nature and restore a sense of wonder and balance, the space is available from 10:00 am. to noon and from 6:00 pm. 8:00 pm. Bring a picnic for lunch or dinner and enjoy a farm get-away. For single families or clusters of COVID families.
