A Women's Retreat is a time to BE!
At White Rose Farm, a core group of women gathers eight times a year, times close to the solstices, equinoxes and the cross quarter points halfway in between them, times traditionally celebrated in agricultural societies, times specially potent for women whose rhythms naturally mirror those of the seasons.
At each gathering, we open and close with a simple ritual.
We create a time apart from our outer lives.
We savor and share our inner journeys.
We listen to each other and reflect on our lives.
We honor the movement of life from spring to summer to fall to winter from girl to maiden to warrior and mother to crone to spirit from outer awareness to inner knowing.
We come to recognize deeper patterns in our lives.
We accept the seasons of the year and of life.
At each circle, we share our experiences of the last six weeks, honoring the season with poetry and/or movement. We share fabulous food together. We create collages of what we want to bring into our lives in the coming season.
We will be hosting the Women's Circle on Saturday, June 27 from 10:30 to 3:30 outside at the farm.

"Somewhere there are people to whom we can speak with passion without having the words catch in our throats, somewhere a circle of hands will open to receive us, eyes will light up as we enter, voices will celebrate with us whenever we come into our own power.
Community means strength that joins our strength to do the work that needs to be done, arms to hold us when we falter, a circle of healing, a circle of friends, someplace where we can be free."
